The country's energy systems have faced increased strikes in recent weeks

Overnight, Moscow's aerial assaults have led to electricity outages in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

Several individuals were wounded while residents in the city's east were experienced blackouts and dealt with interruptions to water systems, as stated by municipal leaders.

Simultaneously, a young boy was fatally injured in a distinct aerial attack in the Zaporizhzhia area in the southern area, according to area administrators.

Officials stated that numerous aerial vehicles and several dozen projectiles targeted energy facilities, labeling such attacks as "premeditated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

Energy officials said Russia was "inflicting a massive strike" and technical staff were working to repair systems.

A barrage of missiles damaged power facilities and civilian homes in the capital.

Five out of the nine people wounded in the assaults on the capital have been transported for medical care, according to city authorities.
